SMC grandly celebrated its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of perseverance and fruitful achievements. Distinguished guests, including government representatives, board members from the U.S. IGS Group headquarters, and key partners from Mainland China, Taiwan region, South Korea, etc., gathered with the SMC team and witnessed the ceremony.

The ceremony began with an opening speech by Mr. Yuan Xin, a member of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairman of the Foreign Investors Association. Mr. Yuan highly commended SMC’s development and encouraged the company to continue striving for excellence.

Representing the U.S. headquarters, Mr. Ruediger Lambert, former Executive Director of IGS Group and former General Manager of IGS Germany, as well as Mr. Raimund Gester, IGS Group shareholder representative and Vice President, delivered inspiring speeches.

Mr. Huang Yunhuo, General Manager of iCare Vision Technology Inc. from Taiwan, also shared the journey of over 20 years of collaboration with SMC, reminiscing about the remarkable years of mutual growth.

Finally, Mr. Zhou Hongjie, General Manager of SMC, passionately recounted the company’s 30-year history of dedication and expressed confidence in reaching even greater heights in the future.

The company’s glorious journey would not have been possible without the commitment and dedication of every employee. During the celebration, SMC presented commemorative awards to dozens of employees with 10 and 20 years of service, honoring their unwavering contributions.
